As a physiotherapist specialising in women's health, Louise provides treatment, advice and support for women experiencing gynaecological and obstetric problems such as difficulty in controlling the bladder or bowels or constipation, issues such as prolapse and painful conditions including pelvic pain or painful intercourse. She also specialises in aiding recovery from birth, assessing and treating a tummy gap, muscle weaknesses and providing a programme to promote recovery and a safe return to exercise. Louise helps women prepare for, or recovering from gynaecological surgery. She provides a confidential specialist service for women of all ages, with the compassion and understanding required to deal with sensitive issues.
Louise has gained a wealth of experience throughout her career working in the NHS and private practice in London including, NHS; Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, London, University College Hospital, Private; The Lister Hospital, Chelsea, St Johns and St Elizabeth Hospital, St Johns Wood, The Princess Grace Hospital, Marylebone.
Louise set up PT Practice for Women in Harley Street, London, in 2006. She has recently opened a second branch of the practice in Cheltenham. Louise is a state registered physiotherapist and full member of the association for Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP). Louise is currently completing a Masters in Women's Health Physiotherapy. She also attends national courses and international conferences to keep in touch with new developments and the most up to date research in the field.
Louise aims to provide an amicable, accessible and professional environment for patients with an emphasis on holistic care. She works closely with number of leading consultants in the field of women’s health.
