Sarabeth is an experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist working with adults and young people who have issues such as relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, abuse, illness, bereavement, addiction, eating disorders and self-harm.
Sarabeth provides a safe, consistent space in which to explore your problems. With her warm approach, she will listen to you in a non-judgemental way. She aims to help you make sense of your feelings, your past and current difficulties, enabling greater self-awareness, so change becomes possible.
Having trained intensively for four and a half years for a Post-graduate Diploma and Masters degree in Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling at the University of Hertfordshire, she continues to develop her expertise through professional development in areas such as the impact of child sexual abuse on adult survivors and their relationships, working with self-harm, the developmental origins of anxiety disorders, and working with the addictive process.
Her counselling experience includes open-ended psychotherapy and fixed-term counselling at her private practice as well as charitable counselling services in Hertfordshire and London.
She has also worked with new, vulnerable and distressed mothers at a counselling service in Hertfordshire.
She provides open-ended and fixed-term therapy to men and women of all ages and backgrounds.
